The Masters in Computing Science provides you with a thorough grounding in advanced computing science, together with experience of conducting a development project, preparing you for responsible positions in the IT industry.

A minimum of a 2.1 Honours degree or equivalent (eg GPA 3.0/4 or equivalent) with Computing Science as a major subject.

This programme is not available to recent graduates who have been awarded an undergraduate degree in either Computing Science or Software Engineering from the University of Glasgow. These applicants should, if not already graduated, consider continuing to the integrated MSci award..

For applicants whose first language is not English, the University sets a minimum English Language proficiency level.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic module (not General Training)

• 6.5 with no subtests under 6.0.
• Tests must have been taken within 4 years 5 months of start date.
