Business Management & Chinese in University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN)
As the world’s second largest and fastest-growing economy and the largest exporter and importer, China increasingly drives world business and politics. This course will develop your academic, cultural, linguistic and economic knowledge of the rising superpower.
This is an innovative and distinctive course which provides an integrated mix of the study of business, and Chinese language and culture. It draws on the close links which our University has with institutions in China and industry in both China and the UK, making use of work placements, industrial visits and guest lectures.
The course includes an intensive summer study tour in Beijing at the end of Year 1 (Year 2 for Foundation entry) and a full year abroad at the end of Year 2 (Year 3 for Foundation entry). The year abroad is made up of two parts: a study placement at a Chinese university; and a work placement where you’ll join an international company operating in China.
You’ll get to go on an intensive summer study tour in Beijing AND spend a full year studying and working in China.
