This course is distinctive for the interdisciplinary and innovative ways in which it allows you to pursue your own intellectual interests and to develop advanced skills of critical thinking and literary analysis.

It is structured so that you acquire a thorough knowledge of nineteenth and twentieth-century texts and contexts, undertaken in two 30 credit units, accompanied by a more thematically focused approach in three 15 credit units: Reading Ulysses, Literary Pilgrimages, and Children’s and Young Adult Literature.

To apply for a postgraduate degree (MA/MSc/MBA/LLM) at the University of Bedfordshire you should have a good honours degree (or equivalent qualification) in an appropriate subject from a recognised university or HE institution.
