About Foundation Degree Physical Education And Sport in Stranmillis University College
The Foundation degree in Physical Education and Sport is a two year, full-time course delivered at Belfast Met, the Foundation Degree consists of 12 compulsory modules and a Research Project in Health. A range of work-based placements, opportunities to volunteer at live sporting events run by Belfast City Council and project-based assessments complement your academic studies. Successful completion of this course will enable you to progress to Year 2 of the BSc (Hons) Degree in Physical Education and Sport at Stranmillis University College.
GCSE REQUIREMENTS
Grade C or above in English and Mathematics or equivalent approved qualifications (Level 2 Essential Skills in Communication is acceptable in lieu of a grade C in GCSE English Language, however Level 2 Application of Number cannot be substituted for GCSE Mathematics)

CC – At least one subject from the following list – Physical Education, Sports Studies, Biology, Leisure Studies, Food and Nutrition, Life and Health Sciences, Health and Social Care.
BTEC EXTENDED DIPLOMA
MMM – Health and Social Care, Sport, Sport and Exercise Science
IRISH LEAVING CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS
H5H5H5H5 to include English and Mathematics and one subject from the above list.
