About Physical Education And Youth Sport Coaching in Staffordshire University
The development of teaching and coaching skills are central to this course.
This course is informed by close links with organisations such as the Youth Sport Trust and Sport Across Staffordshire. You’ll be taught by lecturers who hold high-level coaching qualifications, have extensive teaching experience in local secondary schools and are well connected within the industry.
During this course you will have the opportunity to apply for our PGCE Secondary in Physical Education.
Our industry links will help to ensure that you’re work-ready when you complete the course, with your own network of connections already underway. As a Sport and Exercise student, you’ll be guaranteed a placement, internship or volunteering opportunity during your studies, in order to apply your knowledge and develop real world skills.
On successful completion of study, we will issue the following award: BSc (Hons) Physical Education and Youth
Entry requirements
To apply for an undergraduate (bachelors) degree you need one of the following qualifications:
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12/ XII with a minimum score of 65% overall
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with 28 points overall
- Successful completion of a relevant International Foundation Year from a recognised UK Institution
