About Football Coaching And Performance in Staffordshire University
If you are considering a career in the football industry, perhaps have an interest in football and coaching, or have an ambition to further develop your theoretical and practical knowledge and skills within the sector, then our Football Coaching and Performance degree is ideal for you.
This is an accelerated degree, which is delivered over two years instead of the typical three years for an undergraduate course. The course aims to provide aspiring football coaches with the opportunity to acquire the appropriate skills and develop the specific knowledge required to gain employment in the football industry, both in the UK and internationally.
This course is delivered by a highly motivated and well-qualified team of academics, as well as expert UEFA licensed football coaches.
Staffordshire University works in close partnership with the Staffordshire F.A. to support the delivery of our accelerated (two-year) BSc Football Coaching and Performance degree. Our curriculum is supported and enhanced by the Staffordshire F.A.’s contributions of their subject specific expertise. The Staffordshire F.A. further support students by providing valuable work experience opportunities that allow our students to improve their employability, as well as giving them the chance to achieve ‘The F.A.’ coaching pathway qualifications via our own in-house Coach Education Programme.
Entry requirements
To apply for an undergraduate (bachelors) degree you need one of the following qualifications:
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12/ XII with a minimum score of 65% overall
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with 28 points overall
- Successful completion of a relevant International Foundation Year from a recognised UK Institution
