In Year 1, your learning will closely mirror our other engineering degrees (Aeronautical, Mechatronics etc.) to ensure you have a solid grounding in engineering principles.
In Year 2 you’ll specialise in areas such as advanced electrical and electronic simulation and control. BEng (Hons) students can also take an optional industrial placement. This is a great chance to develop your employability skills and get you ready for potential graduate roles. Our close links with many high profile companies mean that we can help secure placements.
In Year 3 you will complete a substantial engineering project. You will also get the chance to present your work to industry and the public at the annual GradEX event.
