On this course, you’ll study nutrition in detail, while focusing on the subject of obesity and weight management. You’ll explore the root causes behind these issues, and understand the roles nutritionists can play in supporting individuals to reach their weight loss goals.
Live projects
Throughout the course, you’ll take part in activities centred on giving you real industry experience and improving your professional development. These might include work shadowing and volunteering, working on live weight or obesity management projects, or attending relevant conferences, events and workshops.
You then complete a work-related learning module to reflect on personal and professional development. You will be required to identify these areas in an action plan and identify objectives and activities to undertake.
