• Approach the concept of performance from a variety of angles.
• Analyse performance on stage or screen and in everyday life.
• Analyse the contexts and concepts surrounding performance practices.
• Develop and enhance your knowledge of a broad range of performance practices.
• Specialise in areas such as traditional acting methodologies, creating your own work, or working in educational and community settings.

You can choose to specialise in a range of advanced performance options, including contemporary approaches to acting with text, working with new and mixed media, and performing comedy.

Work placements

You are introduced to, and supported by, a wide range of external employers and practitioners, and either undertake a further work-based placement in an area of your choice, or work individually or in groups to develop and present a business plan for an enterprise of your own devising.

Live projects

You take part in a range of public performances, to which external practitioners and agents are invited.
