This course caters for students who wish to progress from HND study in sport coaching or a related area. It provides a grounding in theoretical and practical areas of contemporary coaching using an applied approach to provide you with the skills to become an evidence-based practitioner.
The course prepares students for coaching accreditation in a range of sports governing bodies. If you are a talented athlete, there is also the opportunity to apply for the sports scholarship scheme which will support you to succeed in your chosen sport. The course offers two placements, and a range of varied teaching methods in order to give students the required skills to operate effectively in the world of sport coaching.
