About Accounting And Management BA (hons) in Robert Gordon University

Our Accounting and Management degree is a two year top up programme that leads to an Honours degree for those with a relevant HND. The course provides you with a knowledge of key accounting principles covering financial reporting, decision making, control, assurance and business finance.

You will also study key areas of management theory and practice thereby covering a wide range of topics relevant to a future career in business.

This course has strong links with industry, employers and professional bodies, providing you with a unique combination of academic and professional understanding.

In the final year of the course, there are two possible routes offering you the flexibility to tailor your study to your own interests and career aspirations.

​​​Academic qualification equivalents

• The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to our Bachelor degree programmes.

An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A Level).

English language requirements (one of the below):

•  IELTS: 6.0 with minimum of 5.5 in all four elements of the test
• TOEFL iBT : 80  with minimum marks as follows: Listening - 17,Reading - 18,Speaking - 20
  Writing - 17
• PTE:56 overall  with minimum of 51 in each component
