About Fashion Management BA (hons) in Queen's University Belfast
The Fashion Management degree is designed to fully integrate the management theories associated with the global fashion industry alongside the business contexts of fashion buying, production, marketing and merchandising. If you have a passion for fashion and a brain for business, this is the course for you.
You will actively participate in fashion industry activities, such as organising, marketing and managing an exhibition or fashion show, which will combine your management and creative skills. You will have the opportunity to create a course fashion magazine including writing articles and managing, styling and co-ordinating fashion photography spreads. Attending events such as the London Fashion Weekend Festival, provides you with a real insight into the increasingly important events side of the fashion industry.
Academic qualification equivalents
- The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to our Bachelor degree programmes.
An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A Level).
English language requirements (one of the below):
- IELTS: 6.0 with minimum of 5.5 in all four elements of the test
- TOEFL iBT : 80 with minimum marks as follows: Listening - 17,Reading - 18,Speaking - 20
Writing - 17
- PTE:56 overall with minimum of 51 in each component
