About Bsc (hons) Film Production Technology in Nottingham Trent University
This course will help you develop the skills required to work across a variety of technical roles within the film production process, giving you breadth of experience whilst developing a specific area of expertise, with a strong portfolio of film work.
Throughout this three year course you’ll develop new skills working with the latest film production technologies in order to develop your understanding of the art of filmmaking.
In addition to developing practical skills you’ll also undertake a wide range of industry and work-related opportunities through live projects, Confetti’s Industry Week, guest lectures and work-based learning.
This course is taught at Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies in Nottingham.

Nottingham Trent University Admission Procedure
- Application: The UG applications are accepted through ‘Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS)’ and PG applications through the ‘NTU applicant portal’.
- Application fee: One needs to pay £13 for 1 UG course and £24 for multiple UG courses.
- Application deadlines: For UG students the last date to apply is June 30, 2019. The PG programs don’t have any official deadline, however, it is better to apply one month prior to course start date.
- General requirements: Completed application form, academic transcripts, and English proficiency tests.
- Additional requirements: Birth certificate, passport copy, LOR.
English Proficiency Test: Majority of the courses require IELTS score ranging between 6.0 and 6.0 for entry. However, other equivalent English test scores are also acceptable.
