You’ll use our outstanding laboratory facilities. In the last year we’ve spent £250,000 on new equipment for our teaching laboratories including telescopes, CCD cameras, ultrasound scanners, magnetic resonance spectrometers, high speed cameras, thermal imaging equipment and a high resolution 3D printer.

Research scholarships
Every year we offer a small number of Mathematics Undergraduate Research Scholarships (MURS), giving successful applicants funding for a six-to-eight-week placement in one of our research teams. This is a great opportunity for you to further your research interests and contribute to the academic activities of the mathematics department.

Nottingham Trent University Admission Procedure
- Application: The UG applications are accepted through ‘Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS)’ and PG applications through the ‘NTU applicant portal’.
- Application fee: One needs to pay £13 for 1 UG course and £24 for multiple UG courses.
- Application deadlines: For UG students the last date to apply is June 30, 2019. The PG programs don’t have any official deadline, however, it is better to apply one month prior to course start date.
- General requirements: Completed application form, academic transcripts, and English proficiency tests.
- Additional requirements: Birth certificate, passport copy, LOR.
English Proficiency Test: Majority of the courses require IELTS score ranging between 6.0 and 6.0 for entry. However, other equivalent English test scores are also acceptable.
