You will engage with a broad knowledge base concerned with children and society, which will open up a wide range of opportunities in education, social and health services, community work and other diverse support work.

With a broad subject area covering 0 – 11 years, this course can open the door to a variety of careers with children and young people. Whatever direction you choose to take you will have the solid foundation of knowledge and understanding employers are looking for.

This degree develops your understanding of childhood, as well as the theories of disability and inclusion. It equips you with the knowledge and practical strategies required to meet the needs of children from diverse backgrounds, or with a range of special educational needs, such as autistic spectrum disorders, learning difficulties and sensory impairments.

Nottingham Trent University Admission Procedure 

• Application: The UG applications are accepted through ‘Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS)’ and PG applications through the ‘NTU applicant portal’.
• Application fee: One needs to pay £13 for 1 UG course and £24 for multiple UG courses.
• Application deadlines: For UG students the last date to apply is June 30, 2019. The PG programs don’t have any official deadline, however, it is better to apply one month prior to course start date.
• General requirements: Completed application form, academic transcripts, and English proficiency tests.
• Additional requirements: Birth certificate, passport copy, LOR.

English Proficiency Test: Majority of the courses require IELTS score ranging between 6.0 and 6.0 for entry. However, other equivalent English test scores are also acceptable.
