If you have already hold a postgraduate diploma in human resource management, this course will allow you to top-up your studies to masters level as you research and write a dissertation on a subject relevant to your organisation. You will gain skills in leadership and problem solving, and you will be able to influence and contribute to the human resource strategies, policies and procedures within any business.
You will be well supported during your studies and you will receive personal tutoring towards your dissertation delivered through a series of research methods workshops. We will also support you as you work in your own time off campus. You will be able to access many of the materials you will need through the Virtual Learning Environment, which will better enable you to fit your learning around your personal and professional commitments.
Course Benefits
You will be well supported during your studies and you will receive personal tutoring for two days in October, January and March when you attend sessions at our University. We will also support you as you work elsewhere in your own time and at your own pace.
We have strong professional links - our Head of School of Human Resource Management & Organisational Behaviour is a member of the CIPD's West Yorkshire Branch, based in Leeds. We also have a dedicated team of lecturers with teaching, research and business experience, including numerous dedicated dissertation supervisors. There are generally four applications for each place available on this course.
