The King’s International Foundation – Business Management & Social Science and the Extended King's International Foundation - Business Management & Social Science are specialist academic preparation courses designed for ambitious international and EU students who want to study a related undergraduate degree at King’s College London.
It is a full-time course aimed to develop your essential knowledge in your chosen degree subject area, introduce you to the UK education system and improve your academic English so that you’re fully prepared for your degree.

Description
The King's International Foundation – Business Management & Social Science and Extended King's International Foundation courses provide a structured journey for you to enter into related undergraduate degrees at King's.
You will learn essential skills to prepare you for the demands of undergraduate study including:
- Critical thinking
- Essay writing
- Research
- Exam techniques
- Presentation skills
By the end of the course, you will have improved your overall academic skills, your academic language and have a more detailed understanding of your chosen academic subject.
During the first semester, you will receive dedicated support for making your university application through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS)
You will also have the opportunity to take a range of optional International English Language Testing System (IELTS) classes and tutorials.
Academic qualification equivalents
English language requirements (one of the below):
- IELTS : Minimum 6.0 overall, with no skill below 5.5
- TOEFL : 80 overall with a minimum of 20 in each skills
- PTE : 59 overall with a minimum of 54 in each communicative skill
