This future-facing new master’s course is specifically designed to meet the needs of contemporary media industry professionals and students.
You will learn the vital importance of the different political, cultural and economic in the digital and global media industries through exposure to a range of local, regional and transnational examples.
You will develop digital skills, practical experience and transferable skills including project management, research methods, excellent communication, and collaboration – in preparation for careers in the digital media workplace. Whether you are seeking a career in the media industries, or if you are a professional looking to enhance your existing knowledge and career prospects, then this course is ideally suited for you. Current media professionals may combine work with the part-time study option.
You can also use the training and skills gained on the MA in Global Media Industries to prepare for doctoral research in the media and creative industries and associated disciplines.
