About BA (hons) Childhood, Youth And Community Studies in Bishop Grosseteste University
The BA (Hons) Childhood, Youth and Community Studies is a brand-new course for 2023/24 at BGU, Lincoln and combines modules from our Early Childhood Studies, Education Studies, Sociology and Professional Studies programmes.
Graduates go on to careers as learning mentors, project workers (in third sector organisations), community work, working in a children’s centre or services for young people and onto postgraduate study including preparation for primary teaching
Students joining this course will normally need 96 -112 UCAS tariff points (from a maximum of four Advanced Level qualifications). There are a range of acceptable qualifications that meet this requirement, such as A/AS Levels, BTEC, Access Courses, International Baccalaureate (IB), Cambridge Pre-U, Extended Project etc.
