You will work on the algorithms for processing images on mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets. The focus will be on the processing for new camera architectures and displays.
We are a well recognised group in the area of high dynamic range imaging with a strong links to industry and outstanding publication record. You will have an opportunity to work on a cutting-edge technologies and obtain sought-after skills in the growing field of mobile and visual computing.
This area of research is the specialism of Dr Rafal Mantiuk who would supervise any PhD students wishing to study in this area.

Academic qualification equivalents
- Good grades in Bachelor degree and a Masters degree. Previous research experience is essential.
