About Health And Social Care BA (hons) in Bangor University

This course provides a multidisciplinary, social science based route to qualification in the health and social care fields. An alternative to clinical training, the emphasis during this course is on the social experiences of health and care, including the policy issues, the delivery and management of services, and the evaluation of evidence.

Some modules offered as part of the course, as well as certain subjects in joint honours combinations, are also available through the medium of Welsh.

Academic qualification equivalents

• Minimum of 65% in Standard XII school certificate from recognised central or state boards, some courses may require 75% in that subject area, OR Completion of the Polytechnic / College of Technology Diploma (minimum 3 years in duration)

English language requirements (one of the below):

• IELTS: Academic 6.0 or 6.5 This must include a minimum of 5.5 in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
• PTE: 56 (51) - 62(58).
