The Data Science and Visualisation degree is designed to provide students with the opportunity to join careers in the modern data-driven economy, or further academic study. This degree provides a firm footing in data handling, analysis and communication of findings using modern visualisation techniques.
Graduates from this course are anticipated to join industry in data analysis, financial analysis, data support or similar positions. The BSc Data Science and Visualisation degree provided a contemporary mix of computer science fundamentals, programming, data management and analysis, and critical reasoning. The programme produces graduates that are proficient in using data to derive insight and communicating that insight to their colleagues and customers. This combination is necessary for the 21st century data economy, idealling placing graduates of this course to take up roles in both industry and academia.

Academic qualification equivalents
- Minimum of 65% in Standard XII school certificate from recognised central or state boards, some courses may require 75% in that subject area, OR Completion of the Polytechnic / College of Technology Diploma (minimum 3 years in duration)
English language requirements (one of the below):
- IELTS: Academic 6.0 or 6.5 This must include a minimum of 5.5 in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
- PTE: 56 (51) - 62(58).
