About Computing Bsc (hons) in Arden University
Our BSc (Hons) Computing covers in-demand skills in areas such as data analysis, cloud computing, cybersecurity, object-oriented programming (Java), and website coding and authoring (HTML, CSS). The course is unique in that it offers you two career pathways to choose from. Students who want to focus on technical opportunities can gain an in-depth understanding of subjects in this area. If you decide to opt for a career in IT management, you can study modules giving you combined skills in technical know-how and management strategy.

To be eligible to study this degree, we need to see that you have:
- Two subjects at GCE A-Level or equivalent, plus passes at grade C or above in three subjects at GCSE level or equivalent; or
- If you don’t currently hold the above qualifications, we also offer this course with an additional foundation year, which is designed for students who need extra support when starting their degree course.
We also usually ask you for a personal statement that demonstrates your motivations to study the course. We may also want references and evidence of relevant work experience.
