Develop your skills while continuing to work in your current health and social care role. Our web-based learning environment means you can study from anywhere, at any time, over the course of three to four years. On graduation, you could do one further year to top-up to a full BSc (Hons) degree.
Careers
To be accepted onto this course, you’ll already be working in a health and social care setting. This means you’ll use this course either to develop your skills so that you can apply for more senior roles, or extend your existing skills in your current leadership or management role.
What you learn will be applied to the health and social care setting, but you’ll develop a wide range of transferable skills which will be attractive to employers in many other sectors.
This course has close links with NHS trusts, independent sector health and social-care providers, and the armed forces.
If you’d like to go on to further study when you graduate, you can apply for our top-up course which leads to a full BSc (Hons) degree in Management and Leadership in Health & Social Care. After that, you could go on to do postgraduate study, such as a Master’s degree.
Academic qualification equivalents
- HSC/Standard 12 with an overall average of 50% from the West Bengal exam board
- HSC/Standard 12 with an overall average of 55% from the following exam boards: CBSE, Delhi, Mumbai, Tamil Nadu
- HSC/Standard 12 with an overall average of 60% with at least 40% in a minimum of 5 subjects from any other exam board
- a recognised foundation qualification
English language requirements
If English is not your first language you'll need to be able to show you have the required level of English language. This is so we can ensure you'll be able to follow your course.
- Our standard entry criteria for undergraduate courses is IELTS 6.0 or equivalent, with nothing lower than 5.5 in any of the four elements (listening, speaking, reading and writing).
- ETS TOEFL iBT with 80 overall and a minimum of 17 in Writing and Listening, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking
- Pearson PTE with 57 overall and a minimum of 51 in all components.
