We work with employers to make sure you graduate with the knowledge, skills and abilities they need. They help us review what we teach and how we teach it – and they offer hands-on, practical opportunities to learn through work-based projects, internships or placements.
You can get law careers advice from many sources at Anglia Ruskin, including your tutors, the employability service and the student-led Law Society. We offer a range of schemes and opportunities to enhance your career opportunities. They include:
- our undergraduate researcher scheme, which will allow you to become a research assistant to a member of academic staff working in your field of interest
- a mentoring scheme for second years that will match you with legal professionals who can guide and advise them on career issues
- a Personal Support Unit in Chelmsford that offers you an opportunity to gain experience by offering support to unrepresented litigants
- our Law Clinic in Cambridge, which gives you the chance to gain experience in advising clients under the supervision of qualified practitioners
