Programme outline
The Master of Professional Practice is a 180 credit, Level 9 qualification. Students complete via one of two pathways: a thesis or a research project.
Endorsements
The Master of Professional Practice has two optional endorsements in either Education or Leadership.
To achieve the education endorsement, the student undertakes a programme of study with a focus applied for professional practice with a minimum of 75 credits focused on education, including the Level 8 course Professional Education Practice and either the Level 9 Thesis or Praxis Research Project with an Education focus.
To achieve an endorsement in leadership, the student undertakes a programme of study that comprises a minimum of 75 credits focused on Leadership, including the Level 8 course Professional Leadership Practice and either the Level 9 Thesis or Praxis Research Project with a Leadership focus.

- A three year Bachelor degree or equivalent study/work experience.

IELTS:
- Postgraduate Diploma and Graduate Diploma in Engineering: 6.5 overall with no sub-score less than 6.0
- Graduate Diploma, Bachelor and Level 6 Diploma: 6.0 overall with no sub-score less than 5.5
- Level 5 Diploma: 5.5 overall with no sub-score less than 5.0
TOEFL iBT :
- Postgraduate: Score of 79 (with a writing score of 21)
- Graduate Diploma, Bachelor and Level 6 Diploma: Score of 60 (with a writing score of 20)
- Level 5 Diploma: Score of 46 (with a writing score of 20)
PTE:
- Postgraduate Diploma: PToE (Academic) score of 58
- Graduate Diploma, Bachelor and Level 6 Diploma: PToE (Academic) score of 50

New Zealand Living Expenses
You'll require between $20,000 and $25,000 a year ($380–480 per week) for housing/rent, food, transportation, phone bills, internet usage, and entertainment, in addition to your tuition and insurance fees. The average living expense will be the same for everyone, regardless of their tuition or course price. Please keep in mind that these are only suggestions; the Immigration New Zealand requirement is $15,000 per year including return travel or an additional $2,000.
