Overview
This ICT course will provide you with work-ready skills for a career in IT technical support and also provides cross-credit into UCOL’s Bachelor of Information Communications Technology (Applied) degree.
The NZ Diploma in IT Technical Support provides fundamental skills across a broad range of core ICT areas including: business information systems, computer hardware, networking and security, system support and troubleshooting, programming, web and database technologies, and systems analysis.
This programme has a practical, hands-on focus which enables students to demonstrate their IT and technical support skills and develop frontline support expertise in one of the world’s largest and fastest growing industries.

Academic qualification equivalents
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)
English language requirements (one of the below):
- IELTS : Score of 5.5 with no band lower than 5
- TOEFL : Score of 60 (with a writing score of 18)
- PTE : Score of 50 with no band less than 42
New Zealand Living Expenses
