About Diploma In Health Science in IDEA COLLEGE Malta
The Diploma in Health Sciences aims to prepare students for more advanced health-related careers and higher qualifications, allowing them to pursue bachelor's degrees and then master's degrees.
Students in this programme will focus on advancing their knowledge, skills, and competencies that will enable them to deal with individuals with health issues and the challenges of working with multidisciplinary teams in healthcare settings. The course material addresses developmental, physical, psychological, spiritual, and mental aspects of human health, as well as tools for addressing illness and challenging behaviour.
This programme focuses on sector-related Maltese legislation and promotes the "Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct for Nurses and Midwives, Council for Nurses and Midwives, Malta, January 2020."

How you’ll be assessed
This is a part-time programme and will typically take 15 months to complete. The programme comprises a total of 10 modules. The method of assessment is assignment-based.
The course comprises:
- 6 lectures per module;
- 3-hour lectures (evening);
- 12 hours of online content per module, comprising synchronous online discussions, tutorials and/or videos.
