The Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) is pleased to offer its professional development programme, Master of Arts in Learning and Teaching. This programme is open to all those involved in teaching, training and/or supporting learning.
Course Description
The Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) is pleased to offer its professional development programme, Master of Arts in Learning and Teaching.
The Programme aims are as follows:
- To deepen understanding of learner-centred and technology-enhanced approaches to learning, teaching and assessment.
- To develop and improve the quality of learning and teaching through self-reflection and self-assessment.
- To support participants in their initial and continuing development as professional teachers, proficient in best practices in learning, teaching and assessment.
- To build a practitioner-based community of teachers and researchers capable of contributing to learning and teaching scholarship, both nationally and internationally.
- To create ambassadors for learning and teaching and future leaders in this field.
Course Delivery
This course will be delivered in blended mode, using face-to-face and online delivery. There will be 6 weeks of face-to-face teaching (3 hour afternoon sessions, 1.00 pm to 4.00pm) and 6 weeks of online teaching.
Entrants should have a minimum of a 2nd class honours degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Food Science or a related area.
Graduates with relevant experience who do not meet the academic entry requirements may also apply.
International students must have a minimum level of English equivalent to IELTS 6.5.
