Information, Communications Technology, otherwise known as ICT continues to be a transformative technology force in the world and the release of low-cost microcontrollers and an exponential use of sensors is now driving the Internet of Things. This will drive demand for engineers with the skill to design and integrate these sensor systems to appropriate software platforms.

Each of the three programmes will provide the graduate with a set of core skills in computer systems and programming which qualify him/her for many jobs in the ICT sector.
Network Management
Networked devices are all around us, from the traditional wired LAN, to wireless, to fibre, to cloud computing and the Internet of Things. All these devices require secure and reliable networks in order to function. The management of Networks is a core function of many organisations.
Computer Engineering
Computer engineers play a vital role in the research, design, development and installation of computer hardware and software. Areas where computer engineers are employed include the mobile phone industry, gaming, medical devices, cloud technology, smart transport and energy management.
Electronic Communications
This option covers a range of topics in the mobile and wireless communications fields. How we generate and consume information has moved more and more to the wireless space. This drives demand for ever faster wireless networks.
