Today's manufacturing is digital, connected and smart. Processes are optimised thanks to the use of robotics, virtual reality and systems that are able to learn. Thus, specialists with technological and managerial expertise are in high demand.
The interdisciplinary scope of the programme helps students to design, implement and market innovative systems and technologies and strengthens their soft skills – thanks to the project- and skill-based approach.
The curriculum includes modules on Additive Manufacturing, Robotics and Extended Reality. Apart from Risk, Product Lifecycle and Change Management, modules on Sustainability, Circular Economy and Artificial Intelligence are incorporated into the study programme, so students receive a well-rounded management education that turns them into managers with a sustainable and future-oriented mindset.
Content, Objective and Course Structure
Students gain an in-depth insight into state-of-the-art technologies, such as Digital Twin, Automation or 3D print and learn how these technologies can be introduced, promoted and optimised in manufacturing businesses.
The Master's students take part in a lot of projects and are able to get additional certificates. This project- and skill-based approach prepares them for expert and leadership positions in global companies and fosters the soft skills that employers are looking for.
