About Msc In Leadership For Digital Transformation in GISMA Business School
Who is the programme for?
The programme is for managers and consultants who have or want to prepare themselves to take the lead in the digitisation process related to the business functions.
Business and/or management experience after the first academic degree is highly desirable, not necessary.
What will you learn?
You will be able to:
- gain knowledge about digitisation (technology), leadership and business model innovation
- have an impact on business and society
- use practical management competences around change management and digital disruption
- communicate and drive change and transformation through knowledge and communication strategies.
Why choose this programme?
Leading the digitalization from a broader perspective (business, technology and society) is the focus of this program. It will be supported by insights of the bigger picture of the organization and management, as well as communication skills on “how to change”.
How will you study?
GISMA Business School supports flexible and individual learning by applying a systematic blended learning scheme. The blended learning is composed of e-learning phases as well as intensive block phases (residencies). The residencies take place in Hannover and require your physical attendance. During the e-learning phases, you can access materials, work with your study team and talk to your professors from anywhere in the world through our e-learning platform.
You can also choose between studying in full-time or part-time mode:
As a full-time student, you will spend approximately eight weeks in class physically in Hannover. These residencies will be split into two-week blocks that are spread evenly over the year. Between the residencies – in the e-learning phases – you will for example work on cases, reflect on readings, take part in online discussions and participate in group exercises and projects.
As a part-time student, you engage in the same structure and activities, however, your schedule and workload are stretched over a longer period to allow you to stay on the job or take care of other commitments. In the part-time mode, you will normally have two residencies of two weeks per year.
The master thesis, which normally takes six months for full-time and 12 months for part-time students, can be started after the last residency has been taken place.
Career direction
As a manager leading digitisation, you will prepare yourself for the leadership of a digitised organisation. As a consultant, you will be in the pole position to bring businesses to the next (digitised) level.
