The MSc Banking & Finance was designed to meet a twofold objective: to guarantee the technical requirements of finance and the necessary perspective of its social responsibility. Financial institutions are increasingly sensitive to this; for students, this is almost a prerequisite. This is a subject of great concern for the team of teacher-researchers who accompany the students of the MSc.
Offering a broad and solid academic background, our master students will be able to cover all positions in the financial sector, capital and investment banks, insurance companies, investment funds, retail banks. and asset management.
Armed with these skills and knowledge, students will be immediately operational to begin their careers in financial institutions.
The MSc integrates the latest developments in finance and is based on a balanced program including:
- Fintech (machine learning, blockchain, robo advisor, crowdfunding, etc.) & Digital Finance,
- a high level of learning on traditional trades and current financial instruments (fixed income, asset management, equity research, commodities, derivatives)
- an understanding of programming languages (Python, Visual Basic)
- a trading room equipped with professional databases (Reuters, Quantalys)
- mastery regulatory environment and risk management
- the preparation and passing of French and international professional certifications, 1st level CFA, AMF, Reuters, etc. (not required).
