Our summer studies in Paris are a short art program to learn about art, art history and the French art market. This four-week also give you the opportunity to enjoy the French capital during the summer.
Study French along with the history of French art and its markets. This summer art program for college students offers you a chance to encounter and study French painting master pieces of art (French romantic and impressionist paintings, French art of the 18thcentury among other movements) directly in the galleries, museums and exhibitions of Paris. Students will also learn how these works were bought and sold historically and go to dealers, auction houses and even the open markets of Paris to see the art market in action today. This course will open students’ eyes and understanding of art in one of Europe’s greatest and most beautiful cities.
Accommodation in student housing is available at an additional cost. Please register interest with the International Department at Studialis.
