Nationally Accredited
Mount Royal has offered the Bachelor of Applied Interior Design degree, a Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) accredited program, for over ten years. It has the distinction of being one of seven Canadian undergraduate CIDA approved programs.
To become a registered or licensed interior designer in Canada, applicants must have graduated from a CIDA accredited program.

A Degree with Internship + Career Options
Through eight semesters of study and one semester of a required industry internship, when you graduate, you'll be prepared for a career as: an interior designer in residential or commercial design; a facility planner (e.g. oil and gas industry, municipalities, healthcare and airports); a manufacturer's representative; a showroom designer/consultant; or a retail sales or design consultant.
