LHIN Personal Support Worker Bursary
The LHIN Personal Support Worker Bursary was created to support students interested in pursuing a career as a Personal Support Worker in the in-home and in-community care sectors within the Bruce, Elgin, Grey, Huron, Middlesex, Norfolk, Oxford and Perth county communities. Eligible students will receive full tuition towards first and second semester costs, up to a maximum of $5,000.
Academic qualification equivalents
- Class 12 passed students from a recognized board including CBSE, CISCE or a state board
- All India Senior School Certificate or Higher Secondary Certificate/Standard 12 or Indian School Certificate (Year 12) as recognized qualifications
- Final minimum average of 65.0% based on the highest six Grade 12 University (U) or University/College (M) courses
English language requirements (one of the below):
IELTS: International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic test with an overall score of 5.5 - 7.0 with no score less than 5.0 - 6.5 in reading and listening and a score of 7.0 in writing and speaking, with test results within the last two years
