About Dental Hygiene in Canadore College
Develop the knowledge, skills, and judgement needed to become a self-regulated health professional. A large part of your training will include hands-on clinical practice. Students work with clients from the community on-site in Canadore’s Dental Hygiene Clinic, where they offer free dental hygiene services as they put their clinical theory into practice. Graduates are in high demand, finding employment in dental offices, hospitals, and research institutes. This program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada.

Academic qualification equivalents
- Class 12 passed students from a recognized board including CBSE, CISCE or a state board
- All India Senior School Certificate or Higher Secondary Certificate/Standard 12 or Indian School Certificate (Year 12) as recognized qualifications
English language requirements (one of the below):
IELTS: You must have a minimum overall band score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0, on the Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or equivalent accepted English language proficiency test to be admitted to a postsecondary program at the college
