The Bachelor of Hospitality and Tourism Management degree prepares students for management careers within the dynamic hospitality and tourism industry. Students develop a solid knowledge of hospitality and tourism business operations, coupled with effective leadership and management skills.

This four-year program was designed from extensive industry input and was developed with a focus on progressive learning in four key hospitality and tourism industry areas including management, finance, human resources and marketing. Throughout, students are provided with opportunities to learn and develop teamwork, leadership, communication, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. A strong experiential component provides the context in which to integrate theory and practice enabling students to apply their learning in a variety of real business situations.

Graduates are equipped with the skills, knowledge and experience required to succeed in hospitality and tourism careers. Graduates are also prepared to pursue further academic study in business administration, management and hospitality/tourism fields.

This program includes two mandatory cooperative education (Co-op) Work Term(s). Qualified students with a minimum GPA of 1.7, will be required to apply for paid co-op employment to gain valuable work experience and networks within industry.

  • Applicants must have passed 12th with a minimum grade of 65 or above in required program subjects from the following Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), or the India Senior School Certificate or the Pre-University Examination Certificated or the Intermediate Examination Certificate
