Aims and objectives
Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:
- demonstrate advanced and coherent knowledge of Digital Business Management as it applies to key areas of the digital economy including the strategic management and governance of information and communication technologies (ICT), digital business initiatives, digital business opportunities and risks
- critically research, evaluate and apply information systems management and digital business theories, frameworks and practices in a range of business, management and industry contexts in an independent manner
- communicate information systems solutions that meet business needs in complex, digital and networked environments, manage stakeholder relationships, and support organisational change, in a proficient and professional manner
- critically evaluate, justify and articulate appropriates response to current ethical, organisational and industry challenges for strategic information management in complex, digital and networked business environments
- work in a self-reliant, independent manner, show leadership and take initiative where appropriate particularly in a diverse team environment
- apply critical thinking to promote new and innovative approaches to information systems management, digital business development and the application of ICT in various social, business and entrepreneurial contexts
- apply knowledge of research principles and methods to plan and execute a piece of independent research in ICT and digital business management practice and in preparation for research higher degree.

- Applicants must have successfully completed an undergraduate degree in Business, Information Systems or Information Technology equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree as well as a minimum of three years of relevant work experience ,OR
- Successful completion of the Masters Qualifying Program as well as a minimum of three years of relevant work experience,OR
- Successful completion of the Graduate Certificate of Digital Business Management or Graduate Diploma of Digital Business Management
