About Design Thinking And Service Innovation in Murdoch University
Course Description
Design thinking is applied within various sectors to deal with complex business and societal issues. Many corporations have credited design thinking with the successful development and innovation of their products, services and business models. Governmental agencies are using design thinking and service innovation to develop new ways of addressing complicated service issues that are common among health sectors internationally.
The Graduate Diploma in Design Thinking and Service Innovation has been developed with key industry collaboration to provide realistic insight into how creative approaches are used to generate innovative products and services around the world.
You will employ human-centred and co-design methods to reframe, employ insights and evaluate complex commercial and social service issues for improved consumer or user experiences. You will also apply the practical skill sets by developing, prototyping and implementing the outcomes of these creative approaches through a face-to-face real world client project as part of the course.
This course will increase and update the skill set of graduates and current professionals of business, community development, engineering, graphic design, health services, information technology, marketing, strategic communications and sustainable development.
