About Master Of Science (chemistry) in Edith Cowan University (ECU)

The first year of this Master’s degree consists of coursework and research, while the second year is devoted entirely to research. The coursework component provides training in the skills required to complete high-quality research. The research component consists of the preparation of a research proposal, the completion of a research project, the preparation of a thesis and participation in seminars.

All applicants are required to have an undergraduate science degree with a major in Chemistry.

Academic IELTS: An overall band score of 6.5, with no individual band less than 6.0
TOEFL: Minimum score of 573, including Test of Written English of 5.0 or better
TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 84, with no individual score less than 17
Pearson Test of English (PTE): PTE Academic 58, with no score less than 50 for postgraduate standard entry courses
University of Cambridge (Cambridge English: Advanced): Post-2015: An overall score of 176, with no individual band less than 169
Other: Other evidence of English language proficiency may be acceptable.
