This course has relevance to both information technology (IT) and non-IT professionals who wish to acquire knowledge and managerial skills in relation to information and communications technology and their application to business.
Management Information Systems (MIS) describes the broad opportunities for supporting the application of technologies to business. The study of e-business and enterprise systems is an integral part of this area. This course specifically addresses the business and technology issues arising from enterprise use of IT and covers technological, managerial and strategic issues.

All applicants are required to have a Bachelor degree in a discipline other than Information Systems, with equivalents considered. Alternatively applicants can have a Graduate Certificate in a relevant discipline, or have five years appropriate supervisory or managerial work experience.
