About Tuskegee University

Tuskegee University was founded by Lewis Adams and Booker T. Washington and is a private university in Alabama. Its goal is to provide pupils with a racially, culturally, and religiously varied education.

Five colleges and three schools make up the university. The College of Agriculture, Environment, and Nutrition Sciences, The College of Arts and Sciences, The Andrew F. Brimmer College of Business and Information Science, The College of Engineering, The College of Veterinary Medicine, The Robert R. Taylor School of Architecture and Construction Science, The School of Education, and The School of Nursing and Allied Health are the colleges involved. It was, and continues to be, the first black university to be accredited by the National Historic Landmark on April 2, 1966. This university has progressed from its inception to become one of the greatest institutions in the city. It strives to give excellent education and focuses on increased learning delivery among the target audience.

Currently, the university has around 3,000 students and over 800 academic members. This sprawling campus spans 5,000 acres of forested land and houses up to a hundred significant structures. Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Arts, and Bachelor of Science are among the undergraduate programmes available. For the same courses, it also offers post-graduate degrees and PhDs.

The university also provides financial aid to its colleges' students in the form of grants, loans, and scholarships. Athletic Scholarship, Computer Science Scholars Program, Endowed Scholarships, External Scholarships, Freshman Scholarships, R.O.T.C Scholarships, Thurgood Marshall College Fund, ChameloenJohn Scholarship, Shomari Asim Foster Scholarship, and Transfer Student Scholarship are some of the scholarships offered by colleges to deserving students.

Residential facilities are available to students, teaching faculty, and non-teaching personnel at the institution. It has constructed its residential complex so that female halls, male halls, and apartments are available. Douglass Hall, Emery I Hall, Emery III Hall, Harvey Hall, James Hall, Russell Hall, Tantum Hall, Sage Hall, Younge Hall, and White Hall were were created specifically for female students and professors. Banneker Hall, Bethune Hall, Emery II Hall, Emery IV Hall, James Hall, and Rockefeller Hall were all created specifically for male students and personnel. The co-ed halls that go across both departments are the same. The university has the following student apartments on its grounds. The East Common Apartment, the North Common Apartment, the West Common Apartment, and the Marble Common Apartments are the four that make up the East Common Apartment.

The institution strives to provide students with a secure and comfortable stay that does not affect the length of their stay. It maintains a sanitary and welcoming environment while transforming pupils into future responsible citizens. Career assistance are also available at the university. Employers can visit the school through the "Handshake" programme. They also have the option of selecting from the university's talent pool. Its alumni can also be found in practically every reputable firm in the country.

Tuskegee University International Students Admissions

Tuskegee University welcomes students from all over the world, but overseas students who wish to study in the United States must first complete the university's eligibility requirements. If accepted, the students must have sufficient means to pay their stay in the United States.
