About National University

The National University, founded in 1971, is a private, non-profit institution that provides more than 100 programmes, including master's and bachelor's degrees, as well as certificates and diplomas. It also offers completely online classes. Transfer-friendly programmes and subsidies, such as the CCC-ADT Transfer Scholarship or the Transfer to Success Scholarship, are available to help students save money on their tuition. The NAICU is linked with this private university. The institution currently employs 2,721 part-time and full-time academics. There are 23,909 students in total, with 12,089 undergraduates and 11,820 postgraduates.

The university's main campus is in La Jolla, California. It provides degree programmes to other California institutions, with one of its sites in Nevada. Its interactive sessions, such as interactive multimedia, streaming movies, and online real-time classes, are mostly geared toward adults. The Western Association of Schools and Colleges has granted the university accreditation (WASC). The International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education has also granted it accreditation (IACBE). National University is divided into two colleges and four professional schools. The Sanford College of Education and the College of Letters and Sciences are the two colleges. The School of Business and Management, as well as the School of Engineering and Computing, are among the schools. Chris Brown, the Mayor of Hawthorne, California, and Ocky Clark, a runner, are among the prominent graduates.

National University Department structure

National University, which is committed to educational equity and academic achievement, offers challenging and relevant programmes that are student-centered, goal-oriented, and have a demonstrated balance of theoretical and practical features.

There are numerous on-campus and online programme alternatives, and students can save time and money by using the concentrated learning model, which allows them to focus on one subject per month.
