Lawrence Technological University, sometimes known as Lawrence Tech or LTU, is a private higher education school in Southfield, Michigan. The university was founded in 1932 and is descended from the Lawrence Institute of Technology. To extend campus lands, the college was relocated to Southfield in 1955.
Undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate degrees are available in a variety of subjects, including technology, science, the arts, engineering, and mathematics. It has four colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences, Architecture and Design, Business and Information Technology and Engineering, and Business and Information Technology and Engineering. Over a hundred distinct academic programmes are available to students.
Furthermore, the university has approximately 4,500 students enrolled. There are approximately 400 full-time and part-time faculty members at the university, with a professor to student ratio of 1:12. Aside from academics, the university offers students extracurricular activities and leadership possibilities. There are over 60 student groups and clubs on campus, as well as a Student Government that represents all of them.
Aside from that, the Blue Devils are the athletic teams of the institution. NAIA Division II was the competition for the teams. They competed in the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference in 2012. The university offers a variety of sports, including bowling, basketball, ice hockey, cross country, lacrosse, and soccer, as well as volleyball.
