About George Mason University

George Mason University (GMU) is a public research university that began as a division of Virginia University in 1949. It became an independent university in 1972, and its main campus is located in Fairfax, Virginia. The university was named for its founder, George Mason, who penned the Virginia Declaration of Rights, which served as a model for the Bill of Rights in the United States Constitution. The institution recognises almost 500 student organisations, as well as 41 fraternities and sororities.

Three campuses of George Mason University are located in Virginia, with a fourth in Songdo, South Korea. George Mason University Department structure

Graduate Pathway Program

Students from outside the United States who want to pursue a master's degree at Mason must first complete the Graduate Pathway programme. They'll hone their academic skills, increase their English language skills, and prepare for GMAT/GRE exams if the programme requires it. The curriculum can be completed in one or two semesters and includes personalised academic advising.

Academic English Program
