The University of Cumbria, founded in 2007, has already distinguished itself in the academic world. Institute of Business, Industry and Leadership, Institute of Health, Institute of Arts, Institute of Education, and Institute of Science, Natural Resources and Outdoor Studies are among the university's five core divisions.
