Leeds Beckett University (LBU) is a public university in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England and is also known as Leeds Metropolitan University (LMU) and formerly Leeds Polytechnic university. It is one of the largest and most popular universities in the United Kingdom with over 25,000 students on 2 campuses in Leeds. City Campus

City Campus of the University is located near the center of Leeds in England and consists of several academic and administrative buildings. The Broadcasting Place offers training in design, fashion, architecture and environment. Rose Bowl on the City Campus has learning areas, such as spacious classrooms, new meeting facilities and lecture halls. The campus also houses specialized health services such as a clinical information suite of £ 1 million as well as high technology labs in environment and biomedicine.

Headingley Campus

Leeds Beckett University also has a campus located about 3 miles from the city center in Beckett Park, Headingley. Leeds Beckett University Scholarships

The scholarship and tuition fee waiver for International students are dependent on the course the student is opting for on the condition the student must have applied for full-time course.

  • The value of scholarship are as follows:
    • International Foundation Year – 1,500 POUND (first year only).
    • Undergraduate courses – 1,000 POUND/year.
    • Research based courses – 1,500 POUND/year.
    • Taught Postgraduate courses – 3,000 POUND (first year only).
  • The student need not apply separately to receive the scholarship. The form submitted during the admission process is evaluated for the scholarship eligibility.
  • The University offers an exclusive scholarship of 1,000 POUND to Indian students on selected programmes. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of well written submission of Statement of Purpose.
  • Awards available to international students include scholarship, grants and research assistantships.
  • The University also offers a 10% discount for the post graduate students who are the alumni.
